Summertime Tokka Contest!

The folks over at :icontokka-4-ever: would like to host a Tokka-themed context this summer with a modern-day theme -- which of course means SRU!Tokka will be welcomed and encouraged.

These are the rules, as laid out by :iconsokkas-boomerang: :
:bulletred: Participants will work with ten themes to do in a month's time.
:bulletblue: They can do the theme in whatever way that want, meaning, they have to use the theme in a creative way.
:bulletgreen: You may write or draw, it doesn't matter to me.
:bulletyellow: A judge may participate, but cannot choose his/her own art.
:bulletpink: All art must submitted by the set date and time.

The start date for submissions will be June 1st, and will end July 4th, so we'll be informing people of the themes at that point, and I will make a folder specifically for submissions. I'll make a new post when we're at the point to start things up.

What I Learned at SRU -95- (Part 3)
A/N:I WROTE A COMIC! ABOUT JANE! IT'S GOING TO BE PUBLISHED! IT AN ACTUAL BOOK!

Ahem. A four page mini comic showing part of Jane's backstory was recently finished by DA artist 'Dooglebuggy.' It's called 'Metamorphosis' and is slated to be published in Grayhaven Comics' upcoming compilation 'You Are Not Alone.' I hope to tell more (longer?) stories in comic form in the coming months. Saint Roku University

Saint Roku University, a private college huddled near the Appalachian Mountains in Pennsylvania, has become a second home for Aang Leekpai, Toph Beifong, and Katara & Sokka Kesuk.

As another school year begins, they find themselves taking in Jane "Smellerbee" Fitzpatrick as a member of their group, a violent and mysterious girl.

If there's anything one can guarantee about college, it's that nothing stays the same.

Is it weird that for the longest time I didn't bother to look up what school "SRU" stood for cause I was just looking at pretty pictures, and assumed it was all taking place at "Slippery Rock University", an actual school in western Pennsylvania?

Haha, I came up with 'SRU' before I even knew that Slippery Rock was a place. It just happens to be a bizarre coincidence that it ALSO is in PA, haha. I didn't bother to look it up until after I'd started writing the story, as I recall.

The next part is still in progress, so it should be ready soon. I'm expecting progress after that to come along more smoothly as the story usually does. This particular part's just been a bit rough and bumpy to work through.

Normally, I don't like spoilers, but this question has been eating @ my face since the early chapters: When does Taang end, and Kataang and Tokka begin? approximately?
